Good 'ol Grateful Dead
This is a nugget for sure. The boys sounded wonderful in Denver for this one. 1973 is my favorite year, it's chock full of excellent music. One great show after another, especially in November. The music here is sweet and mellow for the most part. They hit a creative high and ride that wave for all its worth! All performances are spectacular. Billy is the backbone as always, Bobby and Donna both sound great, Keith and Phil add their distinctive sound to each song, and Jerry leaves his indelible mark as he weaves his web of never-ending magic all night long. I won't critique each song but Broke down Palace and Half-step are standouts. Check this one out you won't be sorry!
